Once you schedule a time to connect with me and I hear more about your business, I'll share with you the process of getting started and we'll get to work on planning your session from start to finish and everything in between. Once a retainer payment is made, I'll reserve your desired date and time. We'll do a consult call, collaborate on a mood board before your session. On your session day, do your favorite self-care routines to start your day. Just relax, have fun with your shoot, and it'll show in your brand photos. I'll assist you with poses that feel genuine, compose stills and video and capture on- and behind-the-scenes footage that compliments your brand. Sneak peaks will be shared within 5 days and your final high resolution online gallery will be available within 2-3 weeks from the time I receive your final picks.

We are all well aware of the Covid-19 virus and its implications. I am vaccinated and boosted and adheres to all government guidelines pertaining to Covid-19. We will mask when not shooting and practice safe distancing. An air filter(s) will be used in indoor locations. We will continue to perform services as planned if we can legally do so under applicable local, state, and federal law. If you are immunocompromised or have other special concerns regarding Covid, please let me know what you need. I am happy to accommodate your concerns and taking additional precautions to the best of my availability. Please refer to our rescheduling policies above if you need to reschedule because of a positive Covid test result.

I consult my clients on what looks best on camera. I also have stylists and make-up artists who I can recommend to help level up your wardrobe and look your absolute best! Depending on the package you book, you have a certain amount of wardrobe options you can wear to get the most variety out of your session for posting on social media, your website, and other marketing materials. On average, my clients can change outfits every 15-20 minutes.

We can on-location at a place of your choosing that best represents your style and catch your audience eye. Together, we will carefully plan a location that fit your vision best.

Believe it or not, the majority of my clients have felt this way, but I assure you our day together will be full of fun and adventure. We'll crank up your favorite upbeat playlist and start celebrating your successes and manifesting your goals! You won't even think about posing as I guide you into effortless movements that feel organic, natural, and beautiful.

Guests are strongly discouraged. While it sounds fun in theory, they're often bored or constantly moving because they're in our way. Guests also unintendedly steal your focus and energy - or worse, make you feel more self-conscious. These things tend to not be helpful to the overall goal of the shoot or to your investment.

Please know, I'm happy to work with guests when needed, especially when they’re vital to setup, takedown, or something specific. Please chat with me ahead of time so we can put a plan together.

To be fair to you and every other client in my session calendar, I stick firmly to my schedule. Your retainer holds your date, and that spot is no longer available to be booked by anyone else.

Due to the nature of brand photography and the planning involved for us all, unless necessary due to weather restrictions and natural disasters, there are financial repercussions to changing your session date more than 72 hours after booking. Non-refundable retainers and cancellation fees cover time already spent on your project, additional labor to reschedule, contractor fees, lost wages, and processing fees.

We get it, life happens. We are here to support you when extreme circumstances arise and will do so to the best of our availability.

It's a good idea to give yourself a buffer before and after your shoot. I ask for you to arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled start time so we'll have time to unload, talk through your wardrobe, and show you the space before you jump straight into hair and makeup.

Please notify me if you're running behind schedule, but also stay calm. Your safety is our first priority. I'll do my best to accommodate you, but it's important to understand that late arrivals can leave you with less time for hair and makeup or lost session time.

Cancellations will result in the forfeit of your non-refundable retainer, plus any additional fees incurred for agreed-upon incremental services, i.e. specialty props or design services, unless cancellation has been made within 72 hours of signing your Agreement, in which case you'll be charged a 10% cancellation fee on your total invoice but will otherwise be refunded.*Non-refundable retainers and cancellation fees cover time already spent on your project, contractor fees, lost wages, and processing fees.

For indoor sessions, we'll continue under any and all weather unless the conditions are dangerous and prevent us from safely getting to the site. We’ll be in contact in that kind of situation.

For outdoor sessions, if conditions are dangerous or likely to prevent us from a successful session, we'll discuss the options of using an alternative location or rescheduling. I'll monitor the weather in the days leading up to the shoot but wait to make an official call anywhere from 4-12 hours out (experience has taught me to wait).

I give my clients access to their unedited images one to two weeks after their session to select their final images. Once you select your images, your photos will be retouched, skin edited, and color corrected within three weeks of choosing your final images. If you need your images back sooner, there with a $200 rush fee. You can purchase additional images for $50 each.

There's no travel fee within Sacramento and Placer Counties. Locations in Reno, El Dorado County, Bay Area + San Francisco are subject to a $100 travel fee.
